From one lover to another…
Love is everywhere, every day, not just today.
It’s soft, it’s loud, it’s wild in its own way.
Man to man, woman to woman, maybe many hearts as one…
love is love. It can be wild, look foolish,
or make no damn sense at all.
Don’t ask stupid questions as to why.
Love expands and endures, while hate consumes and destroys.
Hate burns out, but love ignites the soul.
Love will shine like stars—bright, infinite, untamed.
While hate fades like shadows—silent, fleeting, unnamed.
At 16 or 60, love may find you.
Time may try to hold it, people may talk shit,
but love doesn’t answer to clocks or opinions.
It slips through, lingers, stays,
even after we’re gone.
Love is all we have, and all we can give.
Hate is never the answer,
two wrongs won’t make it right,
and even two rights can’t make it perfect.
And if you ever doubt it, just look up.
Love is written in the sky,
woven through the veins of the universe.
This Valentine’s, honor love in all its forms…
the kind that holds you like gravity,
or the kind that sets you free like stardust.
